چکیده
The unit root test proposed by Ranjbar et al. (2018) was examined for an alternative of stationary asymmetric exponential smooth transition autoregressive (AESTAR) under structural breaks. situation that stands out as a deficiency in the mentioned study model does not includes zero-mean structure taken into account. On contrary, features should also had been explained. Because time-varying deterministic terms were removed from time series describing fact no formed due to transformation during redefinition difference equation indicates obtained be evaluated with zero-mean. This methodology developed is interpretation Sollis (2009) Fourier can called Fourier-Sollis condition. critical values finite samples calculated and size power properties evaluated. Fourier-KSS tests compared assumption symmetric/asymmetric reversions. Under reversions, found more successful. However, symmetric assumption, these used together.

A Study of Testing Mean Reversion in the Inflation Rate of Iran’s Provinces: New Evidence Using Quantile Unit Root Test
T his paper is to examine the mean reverting properties of inflation rates for Iran’s 25 provinces over the period from 1990:4 to 2017:7. To the end, we use various conventional univariate linear and non-linear unit root tests, as well as quantile unit root test by Koenker and Xiao (2004). Results of conventional unit root tests indicate that the null hypothesis of the unit root test...
متن کاملTesting for a unit root with a nonlinear Fourier function
The paper develops a unit-root test that allows for an unknown number of structural breaks with unknown functional forms. The test is based on the fact that the behavior of such series can often be captured using a single frequency component of a Fourier approximation. Hence, instead of selecting specific break dates, the number of breaks, and the form of the breaks, the specification problem i...
متن کاملA New Unit Root Test against Asymmetric ESTAR Nonlinearity with Smooth Breaks
T his paper proposes a new unit root test against the alternative of symmetric or asymmetric exponential smooth transition autoregressive (AESTAR) nonlinearity that accounts for multiple smooth breaks. We provide small sample properties which indicate the test statistics have good empirical size and power. Also, we compared small sample properties of the test statistics with Christop...
متن کاملconstruction and validation of the translation teacher competency test and the scale of students’ perceptions of translation teachers
the major purpose of this study was to develop the translation teacher competency test (ttct) and examine its construct and predictive validity. the present study was conducted in two phases: a qualitative phase as well as a quantitative phase. in the first phase of the study, the author attempted to find out the major areas of competency required for an academic translation teacher. the second...
Topology Control Problems under Symmetric and Asymmetric Power Thresholds
We consider topology control problems where the goal is to assign transmission powers to the nodes of an ad hoc network so as to induce graphs satisfying specific properties. The properties considered are connectivity, bounded diameter and minimum node degree. The optimization objective is to minimize the total power assigned to nodes. As these problems are NP-hard in general, our focus is on d...
